Good Mourning with Carole McLeod
Coping with the Holidays
Dealing with the stress and anxiety of the holidays can be difficult enough. Dealing with holiday stress can certainly be compounded when experiencing your first holiday without your loved one.
Holidays are about being together with the important people in your life including your spouse, children, family and friends gathering together to make more memories and creating new traditions. But what is actually happening is a renewed sense of personal grief. When a loved one is very ill or has died, even the memories of holidays past can be too painful to think about, let alone beginning new ones without that person. We strongly encourage you to attend our special holiday seminar. You'll learn some helpful tips to get you through the holidays and beyond. As always, all of our seminars are complimentary.

Every year we host a special ceremony honoring all those families who have lost a loved one since our last holiday season. However, all families are welcome to attend the event regardless of when the death occurred. During this special ceremony, each family member will receive a complimentary paper angel to decorate and hang on one of our trees throughout the holiday season. In addition, you may also order a special commemorative glass angel for yourself or all your family members for placement on your tree for years to come. Each angel is personalized with your loved ones name and dates. Angels cost only $29.95 (Save $5 if ordered before Nov. 1st) each and all net proceeds will benefit Casey's Cookies. Complimentary refreshments and entertainment will be provided.
